About

I'm Edna Alfaro. I help teams solve the right problems by balancing research, design, and product strategy. Over 14 years, I've built design practices from the ground up, fostering maturity and creating scalable, research-driven systems.

Experience

Currently, I'm the lead product designer at Replicant, shaping developer tools for AI-powered contact center agents. Before that, I designed across veterinary health at Vetsource, connected vehicles for Kawasaki and Toyota, and digital communications at Ketchum University.

I thrive in complex domains where getting the details right matters. My roots in graphic design, marketing analytics, and nonprofit work shaped how I approach problems: resourceful, intentional, and always making the most of what's available.

Philosophy

Build to scale

Processes, culture, and systems where none existed. I see design as a way to leave things better than I found them.

Embrace change

Give life to change and death to perfection. Challenge "but it's always been this way" and try something else.

Harness alignment

The best work happens when disciplines converge. Lean into collaboration, not just coordination.
